Aside from her on-court success, Reese has also become a social media sensation, with nearly 2.7 million followers on various social media platforms. Her controversial gesture towards an Iowa player during the national championship game, where she threw a “you can’t see me” celebration towards the opposing player before pointing at her ring finger, also caused a stir on social media. However, this controversy did not seem to have affected Reese’s brand value.

Raising Cane’s partners with college athletes

Raising Cane’s partnership is just one of many examples of how college athletes are taking advantage of the new NIL rules to earn money through endorsements and sponsorships. Companies such as Raising Cane’s are also benefiting from these partnerships, as they are able to attract more customers and generate more revenue by associating themselves with popular athletes and teams.
