Things might be turning around soon for the Brooklyn Nets. Their star point guard Kyrie Irving is all set to make a return to the team. And if anybody is happier than Brooklyn fans, it may be the other star in Brooklyn himself, Kevin Durant. This surely is good news for the team and its fans as Irving will soon be joining the team currently sitting 12th in the Eastern Conference table.?

Since Irving?s off-court controversy has seen to be getting the best of him, he was suspended for at least five games by the Nets. Irving was also asked to fulfill a list of requirements by the team?s owner in order to join the team back.

Some good news for Kevin Durant and the Nets

The Nets, and moreover Kevin Durant, have really missed Irving?s presence on the floor. Irving last played in a game against the Chicago Bulls. Since then, Irving went on to miss seven straight games due to his suspension.

The Brooklyn Nets currently have a 6-9 record in the league. The absence of Ben Simmons on top of it has not helped the team?s chances at winning either.

Recently, Kevin Durant spoke to reporters about Kyrie Irving?s return to the team. He said, ?It?s exciting for everybody, I mean, we miss KAI, we miss his presence out there on the floor. Hopefully soon, I haven?t talked to him since we?ve been on the road trip about it.?

?Well, the last couple of days about it. Looking forward to his return to the team, definitely will give us a much-needed spark,? added Durant.?

The Nets have heavily relied on Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant for scoring. And Irving, being a point guard, has the responsibility to feed and rotate the ball to get the best option on offense as well.

What Kyrie Irving brings to the table

For a team to lose its primary point guard, that too a multiple-time All-Star is bound to affect the group?s winning percentage. Irving?s bag of tricks is full of nasty crossovers and spin moves. Moves that tend to often suck the life out of the opponent.

And plus, Irving and Durant go on to become a lethal combination of a point guard who is a wizard with the ball and a silky smooth 6?10″ shooter who tends to be basically unguardable the way he plays.
