“It’s Guys Playing With Hidden Agendas”: Stephen Curry’s Warriors Get Slammed by Former Celtics Star for Not Functioning Like a Team

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are in a worrying position right now. They are yet to win a game on the road and are 6-9 so far. With the exception of Curry, almost every other player has struggled. And a former Boston Celtics champion blasted the squad for not functioning like a team.
The Warriors’ latest debacle was against the Phoenix Suns. Curry was spectacular as he dropped 50 points. But that was nowhere enough as the Warriors were clearly outmatched by the Suns.

After the game, head coach Steve Kerr stated that there is a lot of individual basketball and they are not functioning like a team. For years, the Warriors have been one of the best passing teams in the league. They used to pass up good shots to get great shots.

Even though they lead the league in assists, there is something off about this Warriors squad and Kerr agreed with that notion. However, he was confident that they can turn it around but admitted that there is work to be done.
Kendrick Perkins blasts Stephen Curry and the Warriors
With the poor form of the Golden State Warriors, former NBA champ Kendrick Perkins blasted the squad. He said, “The chemistry is gone right now. Now, will they get it back? I don’t know, but right now, it’s not there. If you look at them across the board and watch how they’re playing, they’re playing a whole bunch of individual basketball. It’s not a team anymore. It’s guys playing with hidden agendas.”

The Warriors have been plagued with issues within the team since the preseason. There was the whole saga with Draymond Green and Jordan Poole, which ended with Green punching Poole. The Warriors seemed to have gotten past that in the first week. But now, the team is still struggling.

During the Warriors’ championship runs, they always had one of the best defenses in the league. But now, their defensive form has been alarming.
