The latest to upset fans of James and Stephen Curry is Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers. After the match against the Brooklyn Nets, Embiid mentions how he feels Kevin Durant is more talented than him.

Joel Embiid talks about Kevin Durant

After a hard-fought victory against the Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid talked about Kevin Durant. The two were involved in an on-court altercation, but Embiid had nothing but respect for Durant after the game.

Embiid mentions, “If there was one player that I think is more talented than me, it’s definitely Kevin Durant.” This statement is definitely going to trigger the fans of LeBron James and Stephen Curry.

Joel Embiid was phenomenal for the Philadelphia 76ers as they edge out a narrow victory against the Nets and spoil Durant’s return. He scored 34 points with 12 coming in the first half itself.

Kevin Durant and LeBron have been two of the most dominant players in the past decade. While LeBron James, edges past Durant when NBA championships are taken into account, the stats between the two are very close.

In head-to-head matchups, Durant has the upper hand. James and Durant have faced off in two NBA finals with Durant winning both. KD also won two NBA finals MVP awards against LeBron James.

Durant is a two-time NBA champion, 10 time NBA All-Star, and 4-time Scoring Champ. James, on the other hand, has 4 NBA championships to his name, is a 16 time NBA All-Star and has been Scoring Champ once in 2008.

Kevin Durant averages 27.1 points per game,7.1 rebounds, and 4.2 assists while James averages 27 points per game, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.4 assists. The stats between the two are very close and it is tough to pick one out of the two.
