The splash brothers are one of the most lethal duos to come in the NBA. They have set the stage on fire multiple times during their time together on the court. However, there have been times when Stephen Curry took a back seat. Notably, when Klay Thompson exploded for 37 points in a quarter against the Sacramento Kings.
In a recent interview, Curry admitted he had a lot of fun watching Klay have a record-breaking night.

With the return of Klay, the splash brothers reunited after two long seasons. While he is still settling in, Thompson has shown flashes of his old self. One of the best past sights was witnessing a hot Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry got front row seats to the time Thompson put up a masterclass in just one quarter.

Stephen Curry had fun during Klay’s 37 point quarter
In 2015, the Warriors and Kings were having a fight. It was a close fight all night until the third-quarter hit. Klay had scored 13 points at the half before checking into the third quarter. However, what followed was nothing short of miraculous. The 5-time All-Star exploded for 37 points in the quarter and turned the game into a blowout for the Warriors. He broke the record for most points in a quarter and etched his name in the history books.

Stephen Curry spoke about this moment and said he had the most fun. He said, “When it’s happening to somebody else, like when Klay was going for 37, it’s the most fun I think I’ve had on a court. You’re just living in the moment with him, and you’re so impressed and in awe of what’s happening and you’re enjoying it with the rest of your teammates while he’s in the zone. And I’m sure he’s not thinking about much other than ‘let me get the ball back.'”
