Two-time NBA All-Star Ja Morant is the name on everybody’s lips in the league. The Memphis Grizzlies star landed himself in some trouble recently. Morant was suspended for eight games following a troubling update from a Denver nightclub. Morant flashed a gun live on Instagram while at the nightclub.

In the fallout to the news, Morant as well as those near him seem to be facing flak. One of them is KK Dixon, who is facing the wrath of NBA fans on Instagram. The author and entrepreneur is Morant’s girlfriend. Fans dragged Dixon into the Morant debate on social media.

Morant’s girlfriend gets dragged in by angry fans

Ja Morant has had quite a rough patch over the past few weeks. After a game against the Indiana Pacers, one of his close friends was banned from attending home games after an alleged scuffle between him and the Pacers staff. Moreover, Morant was having troubles of his own.

When Morant displayed a firearm on his Instagram live, the NBA launched an investigation into the matter. They decided to suspend the former Rookie of the Year for eight games.

Naturally, this invited a lot of hate and backlash both towards Morant and his acquaintances. KK Dixon, Morant’s girlfriend and the mother of his daughter has not been spared the hate. Here’s what fans had to say on her recent Instagram post.

Dixon is a former athlete who played volleyball at Fisk University. Morant, who was once linked to rapper Drake’s ex-girlfriend, has been dating Dixon since 2017. They have a three-year-old daughter together.

The Grizzlies star shares a close bond with his daughter, Kaari. She was welcomed by the baller and his girlfriend in August 2019. Morant has fathered the tiny tot since then.

Kaari has been spotted attending games Grizzlies games several times. She is often accompanied by her grandfather, Tee Morant.
