Continuing his top-tier performance, the 6’2 guard dropped a team-high 27 points and 6 assists in just 29 minutes. Trae Young‘s 28 points and 10 assists were not enough for the Hawks to bag a home win. Moreover, Morant made his return against the Houston Rockets last week where he dropped a crucial 17 points.

The Grizzlies managed to stay at the top even during Morant’s absence. The team bagged their sixth straight win at Atlanta in front of the $8 million rapper Lil Baby. The famous rapper was courtside to support his hometown, posting an Instagram story, which mentioned, “@JaMorant and @TraeYoung, young and turnt over everything!!!’
