His coach, Doc Rivers, has been very impressed with him since he took over, but he was stunned when Maxey called him to ask a question. He said, “He’s the most impressive young player I’ve ever had in 21 years of coaching. His work ethic is beyond belief… He called 2 weeks ago because he went on… the first vacation he’d ever been on in his life. He asked what do you do in vacation.”
