The Celtics had a golden opportunity to advance to the Finals but they were upset by the Heat. They were playing in front of their home crowd but the Heat put on a masterclass in the second half. Stephen A.Smith gives Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown a warning ahead of game 7

Smith was asked what the Celtics need to do to seal game 7. He says,” How about not replicating the effort in game 6? How about Jaylen Brown scoring more than 2 points in the entire second half? How about Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown not combing for 1 shot in the first 11 minutes of the fourth quarter? That would help, that would help immensely.”

“Game 7 come down to the stars. ANd the stars of the Boston Celtics have to show up. Otherwise, We’re Going To Remember Them Not So Fondly for Years To Come”

Game 7 is where stars are made. With all the hype surrounding Brown and Tatum for years, they need to show up. It won’t matter if they lose, but if they give a bad performance, this is going to look bad for them. This is very much a legacy game for these two young wings who have the potential to take over the league one day.
