Beal was on song this season as he averaged over 30 points per game for the Washington Wizards. He, along with Russell Westbrook, helped them reach the playoffs with a series of wins late in the season. However, their playoff run did not last long as the Philadelphia 76ers took care of them in the first round.

Now, it looks like Beal is desperate to compete and the two teams capable are the Celtics and Golden State Warriors. A pairing alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson would be one to watch. However, Celtics forward Jayson Tatum recently dropped a huge hint over Beal joining the Celtics this off season.

Jayson Tatum recruiting Bradley Beal?

An Instagram post was made on Beal joining the Warriors this off season. However, Jayson Tatum was quick to comment a shamrock emoji on the post hinting towards the Celtics. So, could he be recruiting Beal?

Beal and Tatum played together in the USA exhibition games before the Olympics. Unfortunately, Bradley Beal will miss the Olympics because of health and safety protocols. However, it is enough time for Tatum to have a word with Bradley Beal.

Moreover, Jayson Tatum and Beal are friends since childhood. They attended the same high school; Chaminade College Prep. Although they did not play together, Tatum has said that he looks up to Beal as a player. So, they both like each other, and there is a huge possibility of them teaming up this off season.

With a trio of Jayson Tatum-Beal-Jaylen Brown, the Boston Celtics will serve as a huge threat to any team.

What would a trade mean for the Wizards?

The Washington Wizards are not in a good place with the rumors of Bradley Beal floating in the air. Beal is their lead scorer and has been with them since the beginning. If Beal leaves, it will leave a huge hole in the offence of the Wizards as they lose a lethal scorer.

Moreover, there are also rumors about Russell Westbrook’s future being uncertain. The Los Angeles Lakers are looking for a veteran point guard and the ‘Brodie’ checks all the boxes. He could join his hometown team in hopes to make a championship run with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

So, the Wizards could end up losing two of their most valuable superstars to contention teams. Westbrook led the league in assists this season while Beal had the second best scoring average in the league. Washington will lose playmaking as well as scoring with not enough means to make up for it.
