When last season’s Finals arrived, fans are eager to see who will win the best-of-seven contest between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. We have also seen different formats being used throughout the sport’s history. Since 1946-47, this seven-game series process has been used in the NBA. Following the 1947 regular season, 11 teams had played at least 60 regular-season games, following which the inaugural Basketball Association of America Playoffs were held.

A best-of-three system was then applied to the playoff rounds. However, in 1995, the Division Finals were moved to best-of-five, changing the format of the NBA. This was followed by adding the best-of-seven rule in 1958. It was not until 1968 that the entire NBA followed the same best-of-seven system across both the playoffs and the Finals.

In spite of the fact that it was changed over time, the best-of-seven format was mainly adopted because it meant that broadcasters and teams playing at home would earn more money.

Fans often come up with their own match-ups to see who they think would win in a best-of-seven series. And that is no different from a recent tweet, that pitted NBA players who have previously dated a Kardashian against players who have dated Kendall Jenner before.

There have been a lot of talks recently about who is going to win the best-of-seven, and even the Kardashian-Jenner families are getting involved.

In an NBA Twitter best-of-seven match, the ex-boyfriends of Kardashians and Jenner go head-to-head

Those on the list include James Harden, Khloe Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend on the Kardashian list. Rick Fox, who is also Khloe’s ex-boyfriend. And Lamar Odom, Khloe’s ex-husband. After only one month of dating, they got married in 2009. Further, Kris Humphries was the ex-husband of Kim Kardashian. Last but not least, is Khloe’s ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.

Similarly, we have on the Jenner squad, Ben Simmons, Jordan Clarkson, Devin Booker, Kyle Kuzma, and Blake Griffin. Due to the fact that they were all Kendall Jenner’s former boyfriends.

NBA fans went gaga over the match-up, with some even mentioning: “Jenner team sweeps the Kardashian team“.
