

Joe Rogan and his opinions are not unknown to a sports fan. He is known for giving his two cents on anything that is going on in the world of sports. In one instance, Rogan talked about James Harden and his controversial habit.
For the uninitiated, Harden has a bad habit of trying to force fouls from the opposition inside the paint. For this reason, the NBA had changed some of its rules with Harden being the poster boy for the rule changes.

Interestingly enough, eminent commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan exposed Harden’s habit in front of his audience. Along with his guests on the podcast, Rogan refers to an analysis by an ESPN analyst and he proceeds to explain the issue in his own words.

There is no denying James Harden is one of the many faces of the NBA. With accolades like an MVP award and a 10-time All-Star nomination, he needs no introduction.

However, he has his fair share of controversies. For context, Harden used questionable actions to force a foul while the defenders challenged him. This forced the NBA to act.
They changed some of the rules which pertained to Harden’s actions during the 2021 off-season. Interestingly enough, the then Brooklyn Nets star was referred to as the poster boy for the rule changes.
Joe Rogan was not one to be left behind while addressing this issue. All the way back in 2019, he talked about this controversy.
Rogan said, “There was an ESPN analyst who analyzed. What’s the guy’s name with the big crazy beard? That’s it. James Harden. Meaning someone’s trying to block him or he has a free open shot, he just jumps up in the air and does his three-pointer.“

He further elaborated, “But, when he’s challenged, he throws his legs up to kick the other person so he can fall down on his a**.“
The rule changes hurt Harden significantly. He seemed different as he failed to score efficiently with the rule changes hurting the superstar. Moreover, this season’s stats prove Harden is nowhere close to his best.

He averages 21.0 points, 10.5 assists, and 7.1 rebounds. On the other hand, during the 2018-19 season, he averages 36.1 points, 7.5 assists, and 6.6 rebounds. (Source: basketballreference.com)
