Kareem Abdul-Jabbar lashes out at Tony Dungy
Tony Dungy received a lot of criticism on Wednesday for sharing a controversial tweet directed towards the Transgender community after a tweeted video from The Daily Wire. The video featured one of the Minnesota House of Representatives talking about the installation of menstrual products in men’s restrooms to make life easier for transgender men.

In response to the video, Dungy made a comment that drew a great deal of heat from critics. Recently, Kareem Adbul-Jabbar used a Joe Rogan reference to take a dig at the former Indianapolis Colts coach.

In his recent update on Kareem Substack, the 19-time All-Star wrote, “Remember months ago when Joe Rogan had to apologize for spreading this same lie? That means Dungy is either deliberately lying or doesn’t bother with facts when forming opinions. Of course, his ill-informed comment merely perpetuates the stereotype of athletes and coaches as dumb, arrogant jocks.”

NFL legend Tony Dungy reacted to the video about installing menstrual products in men’s restrooms in a sarcastic manner. However, Dungy’s comments drew widespread criticism from fans and critics online.
After the controversy sparked massive condemnation, Dungy was forced to delete his comment. In his deleted tweet, Tony Dungy wrote, ‘That’s nothing. Some school districts are putting litter boxes in the school bathrooms for the students who identify as cats. Very important to address every student’s needs.’”

Unfortunately for Dungy, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did not seem too impressed by his sarcasm and called out the NFL veteran by deeming his comment as ‘ill-informed’.
