In a game for the ages, the Miami Heat did the impossible and forced a Game 7 against the Boston Celtics. Following an embarrassing streak of losses, Miami came into Boston’s building. With the road crowd firing away, the atmosphere wasn’t one to thrive for them. However, this is the time the toughest tend to prevail. Unsurprisingly, Jimmy Butler took over once again and put on arguably his greatest performance in the playoffs. With the Heat down and out, he put his all on the line and made sure Miami sees another game. Likewise, he left many impressed, including his good friend, Joel Embiid.
Jimmy Butler has been a superstar through these playoffs for the Miami Heat. However, over the last three games, the Celtics were able to quiet him down. Keeping him to just 9 points per game, they had the NBA world doubting Butler. But when it all seemed to be over for the Heat, their savior showed up to keep them alive. Butler went on a tear since the opening tip and did not stop until the job was finished.

Several NBA players saluted the Heat star for putting on a masterclass in Game 6. His former teammate, Joel Embiid, was once again active after Butler’s heroics.

Butler’s heroic night against the Celtics earns him praises from all around
Facing elimination, the Miami Heat were surely ready to go all out. However, looking at their last 2 games, the confidence levels had to be low. However, at a time like this, miracles are desperately needed. And Butler showed up in the biggest way possible. From 9 points per game in his last 3 encounters with the Celtics, Jimmy put on a show for the ages and dug Miami out of every hole they got themselves in tonight.
NBA players were left speechless watching Butler go to work all night long. Winning a Game 6 on the road was never going to be an easy job. However, Butler wasn’t ready to go out just yet.

In a must-win game, Butler turned up the switches and went off. With a mammoth task in front, Jimmy Butler only amassed a game-high 47 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, and one block. He was at his best with the pressure riding the most on him to deliver. Furthermore, Kyle Lowry had a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists which came up crucial for Miami. No other player crossed the 15 point mark as it was a Butler show for the entirety of Game 6.
Boston started off hot with their scoring duo really putting the brakes on Miami. However, they slowed down in the second half and couldn’t see things through. Jayson Tatum had yet another impressive game, scoring 30 points to go with 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.
Jaylen Brown made an impact early but failed to keep things up. He ended the game with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Coming off the bench, Derrick White had a huge game for the second consecutive game scoring 22 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals. However, their efforts weren’t enough, as a Game 7 in Miami is now in the books.

The Celtics surely wouldn’t have wanted to go into a Game 7 with Butler and the Heat on the road. However, with the way the series has progressed, it all comes down to the team. The one who is willing to do anything will come out on top in Game 7 at the FTX Arena.
