Why is Dejounte Murray showing soccer skills during a basketball game against Joel Embiid? The Philadelphia 76’ers faced the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday night and the star player of the night, Embiid, who dominated the game and led his team to victory, got bullied by the Hawks’ guard. Murray showcased some of his exceptional moves in the second quarter of the game. And now, as the clips of the highlights surface through the internet, fans are losing their mind on Twitter.
The 76’ers won their 6th game of the season defeating the Hawks by 12 points. Embiid dropped a whopping 42 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists in 40 minutes. Tobias Harris and Tyrese Maxey contributed 21 and 26 points respectively, playing a crucial role in the victory. On the other hand, Trae Young’s 27-pointer and Dejounte Murray’s 23-pointer were not enough to take the team across the line.

Embiid stole the show in terms of points, skills, and highlights. And the win on the side was the cherry on top. But, something else was going viral on Twitter.
Fans went bananas after watching Joel Embiid fall
During the 6th minute of the second quarter of the game. The scoreboard says 35-53, with the lead with the side of 76’ers. Dejounte Murray showed some exceptional footwork and made a swift turn, which forced the 7-foot Embiid to fall on the floor. Furthermore, Murray went on to score an easy two-pointer after the move.
Hoop Central posted a video of Dejounte Murray’s clip on Twitter. The caption says, “DEJOUNTE PUT THE MOVES ON EMBIID.” And the Atlanta Hawks fan really enjoyed the clip, as one of the fans said, “Joel loves the floor. I don’t know if traces back to his love of Soccer, but the dives are extraordinary!”

That’s one moment of the game. On the other hand, Joel Embiid‘s performance was exceptional. And since the very beginning, he made it clear that he was here to win. Despite the Hawks fans enjoying Embiid falling on the court, in the end, he had the last laugh.
