The Warriors went off in game 1 of the first round versus the Nuggets. This is Dubs’ first playoff game after the 2019 postseason. This game was one to watch as Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole surprised everyone with their performance. The Nuggets did their best but couldn’t hold the Warriors in the second half.

Jordan Poole got praises from fans around the league. He put up a great show that had everyone impressed, but this performance was expected by a few. It seems like nothing has really changed, as, in the 2019 first round, Durant was the leading scorer for the Warriors and not Curry. Poole seems to have taken his spot.

Klay Thompson put up 19 points, splashing 5 triples. Stephen Curry came off the bench, as he had just recovered from an injury. Curry and Wiggins both scored 16 points. Steph might come off the bench in game 2 as well as he looks to get back in rhythm. Poole’s performance is a great relief for Steph, as he takes the load off of him.
