The impending 2023 NBA Draft is the first significant event on the calendar, and it is now less than a week away. The San Antonio Spurs, who won the 2023 draft lottery, find themselves in a very beneficial position as all 30 teams compete to strengthen their roster and improve their prospects of winning the coveted Larry O’Brien trophy next season.

Wembanyama, a power forward and center, has drawn a lot of attention because of his staggering height and lean build. He is already considered one of the best prospects in history owing to his impressive statistics and distinctive playing style. Wembanyama, who is currently representing France’s Metropolitans 92 in the LNB Pro A division, has managed to enthrall Spurs fans with his performances. He recently achieved a number of noteworthy accomplishments like winning three Pro A Best Young Player Awards and a hattrick of individual honors in 2023 – MVP, Best Scorer and Best Defender.

Wembanyama also won the Best Young Player and Best Blocker awards and made the first team for the league. With 21.6 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2.4 assists per game on average, he could be a formidable force to look out for. However, recently, a clip of him playing hoops emerged on the internet. And to put it simply, it’s not his best performance.

A user on Twitter posted a video of Wembanyama and Co playing against the Monaco team in the LNB Pro A tournament. The player, however, seemed to be struggling. He tried his best hand at defense with his long, flailing arms.

After a failed attempt at defense, it looked like the young player had given up all hope. He almost fell down on the court.
