Griner has been in detention in Russia for well over 100 days. Moreover, her time in prison can increase as a Russian court came to a decision on her long-running legal case.

According to multiple reports, Brittney Griner has been sentenced to prison for 9 and 1/2 years. This comes after the court found her guilty of drug charges for which she was arrested earlier this year.
