Ben Simmons? case shocked the NBA world. Probably one of the longest injuries a player has sustained. This time Stephen A. Smith had had enough.

A couple of weeks back when the Boston Celtics were on the verge of sweeping the Nets off, it was confirmed that Ben Simmons won?t even make a minute?s appearance on the court in game 4 after a year of absence. Smith didn’t mince his words while talking about Simmons and ripped into him.

Now, former NBA player, Gilbert Arenas, has also chimed in the Simmons situation. He compared the Brooklyn Nets stars to the popular rapper Kanye West in a recent interview.

The former NBA player also discussed Simmons‘ situation. They started the topic with how Stephen A. Smith bashed Simmons for his behavior and approach.

“You’re 25 years old, of course, you want to play. But you got to remember, Philly held $20 million. So they’re saying you’re not hurt, you’re not mentally messed up, 20 million, we’re going to hold it. Now how do you prove? ? If they’re holding 20 million because I didn’t play in those games, how do I get that money back?”

“Well, if I come on the court as soon as I got to Brooklyn then I wasn’t hurt. They keep that money. So now I can’t play because [of] that original $20 million that they’re holding. So now I have to continue the ruse.”
