LeBron James is on his way to making history as he keeps dominating the league. Recently, he passed Karl Malone to become the second all-time leading scorer in NBA history. However, he isn’t far off the record that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar holds. In the midst of James inching closer to his record, Kareem took shots at the King. And this did not sit well with the fans.

Despite being in his 19th season, James has not lost his step yet. The Akron Hammer has been the sole consistent star for the Lakers as he heads closer to history. While he has already etched his way into multiple records, Kareem’s long-standing scoring record could be the biggest of them all. With James’ current tally of 37o62 points, he isn’t far off the 38387 mark set by Kareem.

Kareem takes shots at LeBron James

While Kareem has been extremely supportive of LeBron James on the basketball court, he took a shot at the Akron Hammer for his behavior outside the hardwood. Notably, the record all-time scorer was present at Crypto.com arena while Melo was presented an award for social justice. And Kareem did not like LeBron’s behavior during the award presentation. But fans were left in bitter taste after Kareem’s criticism of James.

Kareem said: “Some of the great things that he’s done, he’s standing on both sides of the fence almost, you know? It makes it hard for me to accept that when he’s committed himself to a different take on everything. It’s hard to figure out where he’s standing. You’ve got to check him out every time.”
