Karl Anthony Towns Refutes YouTuber Saying LeBron James Trumps Michael Jordan: “Somebody Had to Set the Blueprint”

LeBron James or Michael Jordan? There will never be an answer to the question until the NBA exists or until we can compare it to another king or the GOAT of the NBA. Since Jordan has played in the NBA for many decades, there has never been anyone comparable to his play.

When James joined the NBA with his fantastic play, people saw some of Michael’s intensity in him. Nevertheless, these two players never get the chance to compete against one another because when James joined, Jordan took retirement from the NBA.

There was a YouTube discussion between Adin and Karl Anthony about the same question, comparing the best of both players. There were some facts about their games and how we can tell them apart.

Who’s better LeBron James or Michael Jordan?

When Adin asked Anthony which would he choose between the GOAT and the King, Anthony explained how Jordan had altered the game of basketball. He added that LeBron is the best all-time player, and he is the most talented and gifted player in today’s NBA. However, for him, Jordan was the greatest player of all time due to his clutch factor.

The YouTube commenter continued saying why he believes LeBron is better, keeping in mind how physical the game has become compared to how it was in the past. However, today’s game is totally different, mentioning the increasing number of players who make three-pointers.

Anthony responded to the question by saying: “Jordan’s era was all the people who taught all of us how to play like that, there are generational talents, you know there are people who do stuff that’s never been done, you know we got Stephen curry’s out there but there’s somebody had to set the blueprint for all of us”.

As they agreed that the era of the game is changing due to the new players creating the differences, but the older players set the path for the younger ones to follow.
