After winning the title last year, the Golden State Warriors started the season poorly. NBA superstar Stephen Curry has suffered some nagging injury issues this season. These have slowed him down and handicapped the team as well. Despite this, the reigning champions are fighting, with stars like Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole, and Andrew Wiggins shouldering the offense. Wiggins also found it hard to gain some momentum with illnesses and injuries, but he came up big in the 126-135 win against the Washington Wizards. During the game, superstar Bradley Beal shockingly lost a tooth.

Bradley Beal has been a bit off from his usual standards in the past season and the current season. However, he was at his best against the Golden State Warriors. The shooting guard scored 33 points, with 3 rebounds, and 4 assists in a losing effort. Beal played hard all game and at one point it looked like one of his teeth was either missing or chipped. However, it is still not clear how it happened.

Fans await the return of Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry suffered partial tears in two lower-leg ligaments and has been out since February 4. As the Warriors stated that the four-time NBA champion will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break, there were hopes Curry would return for the game against the Los Angeles Lakers. That looks unlikely at present as per the two-time MVP’s words to the media.

According to a report from CBS Sports, Curry said that he would be back on the court after the All-Star break and then it will be evaluated when he can be back in the league. He then clarified that he won’t be able to play against the Lakers.
