One of the most lethal offensive weapons, the Slim Reaper is a generational talent. KD’s career is hallmarked with records. A four-time scoring champion, the Brooklyn Nets forward even made the prestigious NBA 75 team. He captured the ultimate title twice as a part of the Golden State Warriors winning consecutive Finals MVP awards. A former MVP, Durant’s scoring exploits only continue to grow.

Luka Doncic will be better than Kevin Durant?

Nothing takes away from Durant’s two NBA titles. He was arguably the best player on the best team in the league. However, the biggest drawback of his run was his victory with the Golden State Warriors. Analysts believe he has never really led a team to glory. Joining a record-breaking roster remains attached to all his success. But Broussard believes Luka Doncic will be the catalyst and lead multiple teams to an NBA title in the future.

The celebrated sports media figure said: “Absolutely. He’s better than Kevin Durant [now]. Giannis is the best player in the world. Luka is second. … KD has never led his own team to a championship, and I think Luka will ? multiple times.”

Luka Magic has led the charge for young talents in the NBA. The Dallas Mavericks star is averaging 34.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 8.1 assists. His streak of 9 30+ point games just came to an end as he sits behind just Wilt Chamberlain for that record. Currently, he is one of the favorites to walk away with his first MVP award this season. Durant himself held high praise for the Slovenian international. KD said, “He’s just smooth out there. He’s seeing everything before it even happens”.

There’s still a mountain for Luka Doncic to climb for his name to be in the breath of Durant. However, the staggering pace of his development makes it almost certain. Luka Magic will probably become one of the all-time greats if he can continue to play this way.
