Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has a lot to be proud of as an NBA player. However, there is a possibility that he will be adding another interesting accomplishment in his resume, one that nobody has ever done. He might be sharing the NBA court with his son Bronny James, someday. And watching him play in Staples Center, only made the legend want it more. Here’s what fans had to say about it.

Fans react to LeBron James hopes of playing with son

The 17-year-old helped lead Sierra Canyon to a 71-53 victory against St. Vincent Mary., while his father LeBron James was present in the arena to cheer him on, along with his Lakers’ teammates Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony.

After watching his son wreak havoc on the very floor that he dominates, LBJ had something to say about Bronny. As per Mike Trudell, “Asked about watching his son play in Saturday’s showcase, LeBron said he still thinks about playing w/him one day. He said Bronny’s dream is to play in NBA.”

“He has my support and my blueprint. With health and a little bit of luck, that would be the ultimate thing,” he concluded. This is something everyone is waiting for, not just the L-train. As of now, players right out of high school can’t join the league. But the rule might change in 2023, and if it does, it would be historic for the James family, as well as the league to have a father and son, for the first time, play together. Here’s what fans had to say about these comments.

Bronny James has much to say about the experience

Despite being without their best player, the Trail Blazers still started off well and didn’t lose dominance of the game throughout. In the first quarter itself, Bronny hit two three-pointers and was near perfect from the arc.

“It felt special playing on the same court as he’s played,” Bronny James said of his father after the win. “I’m getting a lot of confidence from that, and it was a really special game for me. Afterward, he just said he liked everything I was doing, with my poise and my pace for the game.”

Being the son of a superstar like Bron comes with a lot of pressure. However, it is safe to say that Bronny is handling it pretty well. In fact, LeBron’s presence and guidance courtside seems to bring the best out of his son. This makes us wonder what will happen when he eventually enters the league.

Paul Pierce: “LeBron James Was Great, I Was Able to Be Great, and We Just Brought Out the Best in Each Other”
