Now, in an interesting turn of events, the Lakers may be looking to pursue Beverley in this off-season.

Patrick Beverley is a hard-nosed defender in the NBA. However, he is more popular for his antics on the court. Rather than guarding the best player, he takes the job of working them up. And they may be joining the Beverley bandwagon this off-season.

After a formidable stint with the Los Angeles Clippers, it looks like Beverley is back to shifting teams. Moreover, he may have to be teammates with Russell Westbrook. And NBA fans are hoping the purple and gold keep the former MVP just to see how these two co-exist.

Beverley and Westbrook have major history between them. Notably, Beverley had one of his dirtiest plays on Russell Westbrook in the 2013 playoffs, injuring his knee. Ever since then there has been bad blood between the two. They have clashed against one another several times, but never has there been a moment of admiration. Their beef is real and the entire NBA knows it.
