Kevin Durant Calling Himself God After Losing to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Bucks Leaves NBA Twitter in a Frenzy

The Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks always put on a show for the fans. And their battle tonight did not miss out on the energy. Despite being down big in the contest, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to an overtime victory over the Brooklyn Nets. After the game, analyst Nick Wright took to Twitter to open up about KD’s bad luck. However, Kevin Durant had a wild response calling himself ‘God’ which left fans bewildered.

As the top teams in the East, the Bucks and Brooklyn contest is always full of excitement. Tonight, the Nets started off strong and had a double-digit lead in their grasp. However, the Greek Freak dominated throughout and somehow pulled Milwaukee back into the game. Looking back at the game, Wright said Durant’s luck is awful as he has come 2nd all this career.

But the Slim Reaper isn’t one to stay silent. He gave Wright a reply that sent fans into a frenzy on Twitter.

Kevin Durant claims to be God?

After the tough loss, Nick Wright took to Twitter to explain KD’s bad luck. He said Durant has always come up just short of being number one. Wright said Durant was the second-best player all the way from high school to the NBA. After being close to beating LeBron James for the title after nearly a decade, Wright claims Giannis Antetokounmpo came to spoil the fun for him. Unsurprisingly, Durant did not take long to respond.

He said: “Don’t feel bad for the god. Life has been incredible little Nicky.”

While Durant’s response went wild, Antetokounmpo was sure on Freak mode tonight. the Bucks star went off for 44 points and 14 rebounds in the comeback win against the Bucks. Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton both had an inefficient game as they combined to score 35 in the 120-119 win over the Nets.

Kevin Durant and the Nets couldn’t keep up their 11 point advantage as they lost their own in the final minutes. KD put on a good show going for 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 11 assists. His partner Kyrie Irving had his struggles as well shooting just 9-22 for the night. Bruce Brown and Seth Curry came in as big help with 23 and 16 points respectively. However, none of this was enough to overcome the wrath of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
