Kevin Durant is having a very eventful off-season. He has been getting into fights online,  he got booed by Greek fans during a EuroLeague match in Monaco and got involved in various other stuff. But Durant is still a busy man, despite his team getting eliminated from the first round of the playoffs. He still took time off from his busy schedule to do something generous for a young couple.

A woman got Kevin Durant to surprise her boyfriend on the latter’s graduation day. During an Instagram Live session, the Nets player surprised a certain Isaiah Pugh and told him, “Yo, your girl loves you dawg.” Isiah thought it was wild that Kevin Durant shared screens with him. Durant told him that he has got a good one (significant other).

A gesture like that makes you endearing to fans, in general. Durant is projected as someone who is arrogant about his abilities and is sensitive about criticism. This made Durant more human to those outside the NBA.

Meanwhile, Durant has been having the time of his life. After the Brooklyn Nets got swept by the Boston Celtics, his life has not been the same. He got into a fight with Charles Barkley about the latter’s “bus rider” comments.

Now, he is beefing it up with former teammate Draymond Green over who deserved the Finals MVPs in the years 2017 and 2018. Draymond was talking about how Steph Curry got double-teamed the most during those Finals and pointed out that Durant was freer to score points. KD refuted that statement. Green then told Durant to hear the full podcast. The Finals MVP said that he indeed heard the full version and still disagrees with his take regarding getting double teams.
