The question of who is better is debated upon intensely on shows all across the world, with little success. One of the biggest rivals of LeBron, Kevin Durant, recently gave his thoughts regarding the LeBron vs the Jordan issue.

Whether it is fans, media personalities, or analysts, everyone likes to take part in the Michael Jordan vs LeBron James debate. However, most of these debates hardly ever reach a conclusion.

One of the biggest rivals of King James is Kevin Durant. The Brooklyn Nets star has faced off against James across multiple occasions during their careers, including three NBA finals.

Talking on his podcast, Durant drops a harsh reality check on everyone taking part in the debate. According to him, the two will never play against each other and this is the reason the debate is useless.

When you see everybody in the same room like that you realize, like why the hell are we always comparing like they gonna play against each other. MJ would never play against LeBron in a game. So, there is no need for us to compare their careers.“

KD ends the debate surrounding the two GOATs with a simple explanation. When the two belong to two different generations and play completely different styles of basketball, there is no need for anyone to compare the two.

Interestingly enough, LeBron and Durant are considered one of the biggest rivals in the modern game. Despite all their rivalries, the two players never hold back on talking well about each other.
When the Nets announced the return of Kevin Durant from injury, LeBron replied by saying that it is always a pleasure to watch KD.
