Durant refers to these places as his home, something he clearly holds close to his heart. As per the 2014 NBA MVP, neither of these franchises is going to deny him a place in their history. After all, Durant is set to become a Hall of Famer.

“I?m still doing what I?m doing here in Brooklyn, but if I continue on what I?m doing four or five years, then I?ll feel the same way about this program,” Durant added. He wants to have a home, especially as he feels he is basketball himself, a sport he breathes.

Furthermore, Durant has put his time and love into every team he has played for, which demands that type of recognition from him. “If I don?t do it, then it?s personal”.?
