While some players of the previous era had a reputation for having spats on and off the court, KD has a reputation for having beefs on social media. Durant and his burner accounts are no secret to NBA fans.

KD had one of the worst playoff outings ever against the Boston Celtics. And he couldn’t help his team avoid the sweep. After the game 3 loss, Charles Barkley had some harsh words for Kevin. Chuck said that “If you ain’t driving the bus, don’t walk around talkin’ ‘bout you a champion,”. He also questioned Durant’s two championships with the Golden State Warriors.

This has triggered a response from KD who doesn’t shy away from responding to criticism on social media. So Durant responded to Chuck calling him a ring chaser by sharing pictures of Chuck during his time with the Rockets and Sixers with the caption, “Where would Chuck be without the homies.” And pointed to Barkley’s attempts to win a championship with a super team.

KD also went on a rampage On Twitter replying to comments from NBA fans.

Kevin Durant’s championships

Durant signed with the Golden State Warriors in 2016. This was after the Warriors lost the finals to LeBron James and the Cavaliers in 2015-16.
