Kevin Garnett Explains How Joel Embiid’s Skills Make Him Like Shaquille O’Neal and Kevin Durant Combined

Joel Embiid has been performing at the highest level for quite a few years now. The 27-year-old has shown time and again why he is considered one of the best centers in the league at the moment. Joel Embiid is Shaq and Durant combined

According to Kevin Garnett, Joel possesses the skills and talent that combine the game style of two legends of the game. Kendrick Perkins and Kevin Garnett discussed the MVP candidate on the KG Certified, Showtime Basketball.

Kevin Garnett said of Embiid, “I’m gonna say Shaq and KD. Like Joel, if he wants to play power ball he can really power ball.” he continued, “Nobody with that size in the league. Nobody want the smoke with the big fella.”

Perkins and Garnett then went on to praise Embiid’s agility, athleticism, and movement. They also complimented his dribbling, his footwork, and his shooting range. Both Kevin and Kendrick were in immense applause for the game style Embiid displays.

Joel Embiid is almost as tall as Shaquille O’Neal. His physique allows him to dominate oppositions just like Shaq used to do. Additionally, his scoring record shouts that he is as dangerous as anyone. This makes him quite similar to Kevin Durant who used to score points for fun in his prime and was absolutely sensational.

Embiid is having a tremendous season. His defensive presence, his dominant structure along with his offensive efficiency has made him one of the top two as of right now in the MVP race.
