In the 2020 season, Morant led the Grizzlies to a tied-eighth place finish in the Western Conference and set-up a play-in game with the Portland Trailblazers. However, he could not lead them past the Blazers and into the playoffs.

Morant’s explosiveness earned him several contenders for best dunks during the season. For a player of his stature, Morant has a shocking vertical leap. The dunk he made over Cavaliers’ Kevin Love was one of the most iconic moments from the 2019-20 NBA season.
