Golden State Warriors‘ Draymond Green was addressing the press last night after the Warriors game against the Milwaukee Bucks and midway through the Zoom conference, Draymond Green praised Ja Morant, whose game he was watching during the call. He said “I’m sorry, Ja Morant is a stud. That kid is really good.”

Ja Morant is one of the best young players the NBA has seen. He entered the league last season as the second overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. Morant went to the Memphis Grizzlies and was not given the notoriety or attention that Zion Williamson received.
Ja Morant made a big splash as soon as he took the court with the Grizzlies and showed great flair and attacking ability whenever he played. Throughout the course of the regular season, Morant helped the Grizzlies retain playoff hopes with massive scoring and assist numbers.

In the 2020 season, Morant led the Grizzlies to a tied-eighth place finish in the Western Conference and set-up a play-in game with the Portland Trailblazers. However, he could not lead them past the Blazers and into the playoffs.
Morant’s explosiveness earned him several contenders for best dunks during the season. For a player of his stature, Morant has a shocking vertical leap. The dunk he made over Cavaliers’ Kevin Love was one of the most iconic moments from the 2019-20 NBA season.
