TV star Kim Kardashian once revealed that she and ex-husband Kanye West cheered on Tristan Thompson when he played against LeBron James for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Because of Thompson’s on-and-off relationship with Khlo? Kardashian, everyone in the family was acquainted with him. However, it was during a time when Thompson was found to have cheated on Khlo?. But that did not stop Kim and Kanye West from supporting him on the basketball court. During one of the episodes of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians?, Kim and Khlo? talked about it.

Because Thompson cheated on Khlo?, there were reports suggesting that Kim and Kanye West went to the game to ‘boo’ Thompson. However, Kim revealed that she was cheering him throughout the game. Later on, the celebrity said that they could not believe that some people would think that they would go to a basketball game just to ‘boo’ someone.

Khlo? asked Kim how the game was and also mentioned that she and Kanye looked cute together. Kim replied, “I just hated the reports that were like, ‘Kim is booing Tristan!'”

“I was literally up going, ‘Go, Tristan! Go, Tristan! Go!’ Embarrassing myself with like LeBron right there,” she added.

Subsequently, Khloe Kardashian admitted that she was genuinely heartbroken by the reports that speculated that Kim booed Tristan during the game. On the contrary, the popular model cheered on the NBA star despite the risk of being embarrassed in front of LeBron James and numerous fans. The two sisters agreed that they don’t compromise when it comes to family.

The game Kim Kardashian was talking about took place in 2020 when Tristan was still playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers. And LeBron James had already moved to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Cavaliers selected Thompson as the 4th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. In his sophomore year, he averaged close to a double-double with 11.7 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.

Also, the Cavs were struggling at the time. Then James decided to come back to Cleveland after his stay with the Miami Heat. He went back after winning two rings in four finals for the Heat.

In 2016, the Cavs beat the Warriors to win their first-ever title as James powered through. Thompson averaged a double-double during the Finals as he helped the team on the defensive end.
