Shaquille O’Neal, the NBA legend turned analyst, is renowned for speaking without a filter. He never holds back from voicing his thoughts and holding people accountable, whether it’s on the basketball court or in front of a microphone. He is regarded as a refreshing and no-nonsense character in the sports world. However, it might not be too pleasant to be on the receiving end of these comments. Nevertheless, O’Neal got a taste of his own medicine recently as he found himself on the receiving end of a bitter truth.
Shaq can be a very intimidating figure. During his playing days, he was involved in various altercations with players, primarily due to his physical gameplay. However, he has done a great job to make sure people know what a fun-loving guy he is over the years.

Before the duo got into the topic at hand, however, Shuster revealed how she was glad that Shaq came through. Shaq replied snarkily that, while he loved the sportscaster, he did it for his best friend, Rich Eisen. This offended Shuster and she said in disbelief, “What?? What do you mean? You’re my friend! That is so c*ap!”
Shaq then revealed how he would always be good to Shuster’s husband, Rich Eisen, as he has been there for Shaq throughout his bad times. When Shuster bought up how she has been there for the player too, Shaq mentioned how she used to bad-talk day and night. Shuster then resorted to defending her actions.

She replied that Shaq was “full of it.” Shuster even went on to state that she has never bad-mouthed the Lakers legend and that she was there for Shaq in the locker room every night. She said, “Okay. You know what? Somebody had to come through with you. Somebody had to tell you what was up and what was down. Oh my God! Everyone’s around you, kissing your butt and all that. I had to say it like it was. Come on! I still came in the locker room every night!”
Shaq then said that he respected Shuster for giving it to him straight. She would go into his locker and hit him with the truth. She would be honest with him, regardless if he played well or if he sucked out there on the court. He revealed that he deeply appreciated that. He respects her for it.
