Klay Thompson has not only lost the game but has also lost his cool. He called the Boston Celtics fans “rude” for dropping f-bombs in front of children. Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr called Boston fans “classy” too for the chants. Draymond Green was also being heckled by the Boston crowd during Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

The crowd was repeatedly chanting, “F*** you Draymond” throughout the game. Klay’s complaints have, nevertheless, attracted derision and mockery from fans. Some have already called him “soft” for these remarks in the post-match presser.

Klay Thompson said, “We’ve played in front of rude people before. Dropping f-bombs with children in the crowd. Real classy. Good job Boston.” Kerr also said, “Classy, Very classy.”

Curry did not take too much offense to it. He called it par for the course and that every arena gives you something different. Draymond had blamed himself later for the Warriors’ loss to the Celtics on his podcast.

As Klay and Kerr have taken the classy approach, it will be no surprise when Boston fans come back with chants directed at both of them in Game 4. They neither spared Kyrie Irving nor will they spare Klay Thompson.

Come Game 4, the crowd is not going to forgive the Golden State Warriors. It is probably going to be very brutal for the visitors.

It didn’t help that Stephen Curry had three turnovers within minutes during the fourth quarter. For the Warriors, Klay Thompson showed why he is still starting. He scored 25 points on 41% shooting from the field and 38% from beyond the three-point line.

Klay still couldn’t save his team from a loss at the TD Garden. Boston is now 2-1 up due to the heroics of Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Robert Williams III. It is one of the great first teams faced by the Golden State Warriors this postseason.

They have taken in the Warriors’ third-quarter barrage and given them some back too. It will, now, be interesting to see how Game 4 progresses.
