The Chase Arena is loud tonight as they get the moment they have been waiting for. After being out for two whole seasons due to injury, Klay Thompson finally made his return to the NBA court. However, he had a slow start to the game. But for Stephen Curry, he came in to redeem himself with a hot start in the fourth quarter itself.

For the last two games, Curry hasn’t been able to find his groove. The Baby-Faced Assassin has shot poorly and failed to make an impact on scoring. Hence, with the return of his teammate, Curry had to be on point. Likewise, he was brilliant through the first quarter and helped the Warriors gain a good lead.

He had Twitter on fire who accused him of stealing the night away from Klay Thompson.

Stephen Curry starts off hot on Klay’s return

The Bay fans got their initial wish as Klay started the game off for the Warriors after two years. Moreover, the sharpshooter made the first bucket for them as well. However, he soon went cold. This is when fellow Splash Brother Steph Curry stepped in to help out. He lived up to his name for the greatest shooter and set off from downtown.

In the last two games, Curry has arguably had his worst stretch for the season. The three point king had made just 2 triples on 19 shots. Moreover, he scored a combined of 23 points in those two games. Hence, coming back to the Chase Center, he needed to set things straight. And he did just that as he splashed 4 threes in the first quarter and has the crowd roaring.

With Thompson returning, the Warriors are not disappointing so far. They have the upper hand after the first half. However, there are still some serious concerns. Apart from Stephen Curry, the Warriors are in a serious shooting slump from downtown. They are shooting a combined 26% from three so far in the game.

While they have a lead, the Bay needs to get their game together and start making shots. The Cavaliers are a capable team and can attack with their size. Hence, the Warriors need to play well with their strengths and improve from distance. Do you think the Warriors will improve their three point shooting in the second half?
