Mother of the 6’6 forward, Michelle Mayor revealed the emotional moment through her Instagram. DJ Rodman might travel through the same path as the Warriors star did during his rookie age. 

Klay Thompson heads back to college as he meets the rising stars

Thompson, after demolishing the Houston Rockets with 12 three-pointers, took time to visit his college. The shooter got a chance to witness the Washington State Cougars defeat the California Golden Bears. Thompson had one of the most impactful careers in college during his time with WSU. DJ Rodman might continue to have one too, considering his performance.

Moreover, Thompson was ranked 58th in the RSCI Top 100 list in 2008. The shooting impact of the guard caught the attention of the NBA league. In 2011, Thompson was selected as the 11th pick in the first round by the Golden State Warriors.
