Slater posted, “The next stage in Klay Thompson’s rehab is running. Steve Kerr said he’s on pace to be able to do that within the next couple weeks.”
Being cleared for running is a huge step towards his recovery because the 31-year-old excels in covering the court without the ball. Although it might be months before he can get back to full on-court activities, this is a promising sign.
