Klay Thompson made his much-awaited NBA return on Sunday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He scored 17 points on 8-17 shooting from the field and 3 of 8 from three. He looked rusty in the early stages but he found his rhythm in the second half and finished strong. Draymond Green, who was injured and supposed to sit out but was part of the initial starting 5 in honor of Thompson’s return.

Klay, when asked about playing with Draymond said “I mean, that’s the nature of the beast, injuries happen. And I’m really excited for that day that I get to play with Dray. We, uh, really feed off each other offensively and defensively.”

Curry, Klay, and Green are one of the deadliest trios of all time. They feed off each other on both ends of the floor. Especially Draymond and Klay, who both are exceptional defenders. The Warriors will hope that Draymond recovers quickly from his injury and we get to see all three stars on the floor at the same time.

Klay Thompson makes his second start as the Grizzlies win 10 in a row

Klay and the Warriors took on the red-hot Memphis Grizzlies at the FedExForum on Tuesday. He finished the game with 14 points on 5 of 13 shooting from the field. The Warriors lost the game 116-108, but they did a few positives to take away. They outscored the Grizzlies by 17 points in Thompson’s 20 minutes. Draymond Green missed his second straight game as he recovers from his injury. Curry finished with 27 points while Ja Morant led all scorers with 29 points as the Grizzlies notched their 10th straight win.
