Like every other team this offseason, the Golden State Warriors are also preparing to get back into contention next season. While there are a lot of factors on which their title hopes depend, their best bet is Klay Thompson returning to the court. And when videos of him getting some practice done take the internet by storm, Dubs fans are happier than ever.

With Klay out of the game for 2 years now, Stephen Curry has been carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. Despite putting up some incredible performances last season, the Dubs lacked depth to go deeper into the postseason. Eventually falling to the Memphis Grizzlies and Lakers in the play-in tournament.

Klay is 31 years old, and might not be the brilliant defender he was during his prime. However, his shooting seems to be intact. Klay and Steph from the perimeter are unstoppable. So, if the Splash Brother can return even mildly to how he was, the Warriors will be contenders to look out for.
Their only problem could be some of the underdog teams that bit harder than they barked. In the time Klay has been gone, the West has become more competitive than ever. So, his return isn’t the only thing they can bank on. From ensuring James Wiseman’s development to even figuring out the perfect roles for their rookies, the Warriors have a lot of work to do.
Can they build a supporting cast good enough to make Steph and Klay’s job easier? Or will Dubs fans have to wait even longer for another NBA championship to come their way?
