Recent reports suggest that the team has an opportunity to attract a prominent figure, as they set their sights on a ring.

Julius Randle has been the main man of the New York Knicks for many years now, but despite his efforts, the team has been unable to win an NBA Championship. The Knicks have been underwhelming, and it seems Randle and a few others may be on their way out.

Recent reports indicate that the New York Knicks have the possibility to trade Julius Randle and multiple future first-round picks to acquire Zion Williamson. Additionally, there is an option to exchange several other young talented players with the New Orleans Pelicans.

In another potential trade scenario brought up by the SNY, the New York Knicks could offer Evan Fournier, Obi Toppin, and multiple first-round picks in exchange for Zion Williamson. The first overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, he is set to earn an impressive salary of over $33 million in the upcoming year. Consequently, the Knicks may need to create sufficient salary cap space to accommodate Williamson’s humongous contract as they might have to send out $37 million.
