Shockingly, they lost to the Pistons in four games. In 2004, Shaq demanded a trade. And eventually, Shaq went to Miami in a mega-trade involving Caron Butler, Lamar Odom, Brian Grant, and a future first-round draft choice. Lamar Odom has been through a lot in the past few years. In a recent interview, he compared his ex-wife Khloé Kardashian’s acting skills.

Lamar Odom – The important bench veteran

Out of all the players that the Lakers received in the mega Shaq trade, it was Odom who proved to be the most successful one. Lamar played for the Lakers for seven years. He won two NBA Championships and was an integral part of both of them.

Recently in an interview, Lamar talked about his ex-wife Khloé Kardashian. He compared Khloe to another of his exes- Taraji P. Henson. “I think the difference between Taraji and Khloé is how they [were] brought up. Their upbringing, which makes people different and [affects] the way they think,” Lamar said.

He also said, “I think Taraji is more skillful in what she does as an actress compared to what Khloé does.” But Odom admitted that she was a great wife. Lamar Odom was married to the reality star from 2009 to 2016.

Odom was a starter for the Lakers, but then, later on, came off the bench. When Paul got injured in 2008-09, he was in the starting five again to help out the team. In 2009, he signed a lucrative deal to remain with the Lakers for four more years. This deal was a master stroke as Lamar was important in the Lakers defeating the Celtics in the 2010 NBA Finals.
