Kobe Bryant’s Wife Vanessa Shares a Heartwarming Tribute to Daughter Gianna on Her Visit to an Angel City FC Game

In a heartwarming gesture to her daughter Gianna, Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa shared a tribute made to Gigi while attending an Angel City FC match. Furthermore, she showed her support for soccer star Sydney Leroux through tweets and social media posts.
Sydney Leroux previously played for the Orlando Pride before joining Angel City FC. Her journey with Orlando began in 2008.

Vanessa Bryant shared a picture of herself holding a jersey with Gigi written on the back, and wrote the caption: “Let’s go @sydneyleroux #2 @weareangelcity”. Consequently, not only basketball fans but soccer fans as well came together to complement the picture.
The comments section was filled with messages of appreciation and support, as well as congratulating her on her new journey. Leroux’s journey hasn’t been an easy one throughout the years.

It goes without saying that Vanessa has a special place in their hearts for Leroux. In fact, Bryant made an appearance onstage at the NAACP Image Awards as an honoree. Back in 2020, Leroux supported her friend Vanessa through those tough times when she lost Kobe Bryant and Gianna in 2020.

When Leroux’s daughter was born, the Bryants were there to celebrate with her. When she worked hard during the pandemic to be at her best, they were there to support her.

She also posted a picture of Gigi’s tattoo that Sydney had done in honor of her. The jersey number tattoo on her hand melted the hearts of many fans. A close-up image of her was posted on Instagram with a caption saying: “#2 [heart] Leroux. Thank you for honoring my Gigi. I love you @sydneyleroux.”
