However, while some are deeming this a big achievement because Argentina was the one who prevented the USA from a gold medal in 2004. Some believe that this isn’t the same Argentina team it was before. With Fabricio Oberto, Manu Ginobili, and Andres Nocioni retired, they only have one big player left, Luis Scola. In fact, Nigeria too defeated Argentina in their first exhibition game.

With so much going on, fans were able to take out another narrative. There have been rumors about the Blazers trading Lillard to the Lakers. Although there has been no confirmation, fans would be ecstatic if that happens. In fact, they made it very clear during the USA’s game against Argentina.

As per, Arash Markazi, “Lots of Lakers fans at the USA-Argentina game in Las Vegas making their personal pitch to Damian Lillard to join their team from the stands: Come to Los Angeles! L.A. loves you! Future Laker Dame!”
