Amidst all the reports suggesting that Irving will leave, the latest report suggests otherwise. According to Brian Lewis of the New York Post, Irving wants to be a Nets player ‘with or without Durant’.

While the latest reports might suggest that Irving did not ask for a trade, Kevin Durant definitely did ask for a trade. According to reliable sources like ESPN, Durant asked to be traded away from the Brooklyn Nets.
