The Los Angeles Lakers are now on a two-game winning streak. LeBron James has regrouped the team after a string of defeats, and it required a change of game plan to get them back to winning ways.
The Lakers were jubilated after their blowout win over the Golden State Warriors. LeBron James and co. displayed a clinical performance to seal the win, and it came through a 26-point margin.
The win over the Warriors also meant that the Lakers avenged their loss from early in the season. What’s more significant is that the purple and gold defeated Steph Curry and his team in the absence of key starter Anthony Davis.

The Lakers have adapted well without Davis on the team. He will be sidelined for a few more games, and their two recent victories denoted how the team has employed a different strategy to cope without the All-Star big man.

LeBron James does not want to lose any more games
The Lakers kicked-off the 2021 season in dominant fashion and kept posting wins one after the other. However, the team saw an alert that they should be working harder after they lost four straight games in Davis’ absence.
“It’s my job, like you said to figure it out and on both sides of the floor and I think defensively I’ve just been a little bit more active, trying to be in the right position where that benefits our team and benefits myself,” LeBron James said about his extended role.
“But I’ve just been flying around and it’s helped out our team and everyone’s been flying around and they’ve helped me out as well. I’m definitely not okay with losing and it’s my job to figure out what’s going to be the best for our team and you know we’ve done a good job of that in the last couple of games,” he further added.
