James Ennis linked with Lakers to improve wing depth

As of now, James and co. have three spots to fill up. This is crucial, considering squad depth is so vital for the aging squad. They also need to brush up on the defensive end, meaning that a winger who can contribute on both sides of the court will be ideal. According to NBA source Marc Stein, the side is eyeing Orlando Magic guard-forward James Ennis.

“For the Lakers, wing depth is more important than a backup guard. James Ennis is a name that has been mentioned for the Lakers,”?reported the insider. Such a buy will majorly improve the depth of the Lakers setup, especially on the defensive end. Moreover, Ennis shot at over 43% from the three-point range last time around. With fellow potential wings like Bazemore and Carmelo, the 31-year-old adds to the flexibility of LA.
