Los Angeles Lakers have had a less-than-stellar season this year. At the start of the season, when point guard Russell Westbrook was drafted by the team, the expectations were high. However, they had a disappointing start to the season. They haven’t been able to find consistency throughout the season.

However, we can see some improvement in their recent performance. The NBA 2021-22 season is nearing the end, and the Lakers seem to have found some momentum. They have won two of the last three games, with LeBron James and Russell Westbrook leading the charge.

Westbrook shared his perspective following the Lakers’ Monday night win over the Cleveland Cavaliers with their outstanding performance. Mentioning how he will respond to all those that questioned their performance and doubted it. In his words: “Nothing better than shutting people up.”

It has been a tough season, especially for Westbrook, who has been on the radar of fans due to his performances. Through each game, he was trolled for his decision-making and ball handling. However, it is too early to make any predictions regarding the Laker’s standing this season, especially after their recent wins and the type of performance they displayed.

Both Westbrook and LeBron James have shown their best performances in their recent matches. Moreover, big man Anthony Davis was seen to be working out “extensively” just before Saturday’s match against the Washington Wizards. Although there is no confirmed date to when he will return to the court, it seems like he is getting close to returning.
