More details have emerged from the Kobe Bryant crash photos trial. The Los Angeles Lakers legend lost his life, along with his daughter Gigi, and seven other passengers in a helicopter crash in January 2020. His wife, Vanessa Bryant, filed a lawsuit after learning that 8 deputies from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department had taken and shared pictures of the deceased.

According to a new testimony by a former Los Angeles County Fire Department member, he was ordered to take photos of the crash site. While the same had been testified by Deputy Doug Johnson earlier in the trial, this provides more evidence that the higher-ups were involved.

Brian Jordan, ex-captain of the LACFD, said that he clearly remembers being ordered to take pictures. While he is a patient with memory loss and doesn’t remember being at the crash site, he remembers the orders. He said, “I followed many instructions that day but was told ‘take pictures, take pictures, take pictures.‘”

Jordan had to leave the courtroom multiple times after he was probed with difficult questions. He retired in 2021, in part due to the mental anguish he suffered during the events of the crash. The proceedings became so overwhelming for Jordan that he told the judge, “I don’t want to hear this drama.

It was earlier brought to light that the cops kept a ‘Ghoul Book‘ with pictures of famous stars who met violent deaths. Meanwhile, Rafael Mejia, a member of the Sheriff’s Department, also testified that he had received pictures from the crash site. He, in turn, sent them to Versales.
