There is a lot happening at the Brooklyn Nets right now. They are 2-6 this season so far and sit 13th in the Eastern Conference table. The Nets recently fired their head coach Steve Nash and are linked with bringing Ime Udoka from the Boston Celtics to Brooklyn. However, the biggest headline maker for the Nets in the last few days has certainly been Kyrie Irving. The seven-time All-Star has been facing a lot of backlash due to a controversial tweet.

The Brooklyn Nets have played eight games this season and lost six of them. Many expected the Nets to be a championship-contending team, but they have failed to live up to the mark. Many have blamed former coach Steve Nash for the Nets’ woes, while some pointed out Ben Simmons’ disastrous start to the season. Irving, who will be an unrestricted free agent after this season, has had a fair share of the blame for the Nets’ struggles.

The Brooklyn Nets, however, condemned his recent activity on social media through a statement. Moreover, Nets owner Joe Tsai also admitted that he was “disappointed” by Kyrie Irving. However, there has been no decision from the franchise to suspend Kyrie Irving this season.

The Nets are already struggling despite having Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving on the court. Recent reports have linked Celtics coach Ime Udoka to the Nets after Steve Nash’s departure.
